T-Rexes were born in wee little eggs, and they came out all tiny and adorable. I know, I know: paleontologists have been saying this for years, but we never believed them because they couldn’t produce tiny adorable plushies to prove it. UNTIL NOW. Micro T-Rex is three inches of soft and fuzzy adorable, and comes with that removable plastic keychain clip you see pictured, so he’s ready to hang out wherever you go! He is Down for Hangouts! I would type more but he’s TOO CUTE, look at his little arms, i’m DYING

Guys these just came out today and I really think you should buy one.  Only $8.50!  How can you put a PRICE on LOVE

What if I do a mini-t-Rex mini-giveaway…..??
This is a great idea!  EVERYONE who reblogs this gets one entry, and tomorrow I will choose one reblog at random and send them one!  REBLOG AWAY AND T-REX MIGHT COME LIVE IN YOUR HOUSE / HANG OFF YOUR FINGERS AND KEYS

Not gonna like. I want Tiny Rex to live at my house.

Things I learned from DEDA

Well, after posting almost entirely continuously for a month, I went and took a week off from my Tumblr. But I’m back! I’ve been thinking about what I learned from doing this project.

More time! April, happily, was a month when I was temporarily working a full 40 hour/week job instead of freelancing, but my schedule wasn’t as flexible as it usually is. I did not plan it out very well for myself, and I think I was most frustrated by how I had to rush through most of my drawing last month. I like doing this enough that I want to make more time for it.

Everything is practice! Looking back, I don’t think any of the drawings I posted were particularly good (especially because I didn’t put as much time into them). BUT I think forcing myself to draw every day was a huge, huge help. I’m much happier with the way I’m drawing now than before I started.

I should get a scanner! Taking photos is a huge pain in the butt and nothing looks very good.

Day 30! Here’s a journal comic about trying to take the trash out.

I can’t believe April is over! I really, really enjoyed doing DEDA. It was definitely really good for me even if I did find it hard to keep up with the schedule sometimes. I don’t think my art improved very much but I also found that I ended up giving myself only an hour a day to make something for the day. I’m going to have a post up tomorrow about what I learned from it in more detail. Happy May, everyone!
